Errand help for seniors in Singapore
Request help with groceries, prescription collections or everyday outings for a senior in Singapore. Discuss the task, pilot availability and quote on WhatsApp.
Pilot enquiries only. No payment to enquire. Suitability, availability, support and a quote must be agreed before a booking.
A helping hand with everyday tasks
A grocery trip, collection or neighbourhood outing can be hard to fit into a busy family’s day. Senior.sg is exploring practical errand help for seniors in Singapore. A senior can request help directly, or an adult child can enquire on behalf of a parent. We discuss the task and preferences with you before confirming whether support is available.
What kinds of errands can you ask about?
- Shopping for groceries and everyday essentials.
- Help carrying agreed purchases on a neighbourhood outing.
- Collecting a prescription when the collection is authorised and the pharmacy’s requirements are met.
- Going together on a familiar local trip.
- Completing an agreed collection or shopping task on the senior’s behalf.
Go together or ask us to complete the task
Some people prefer company on an outing; others want an errand completed while they stay home. Describe which option would help and whether the need is one-off, occasional or regular. Pilot coverage is confirmed by neighbourhood, date and task. We do not promise islandwide or same-day availability.
Agree the shopping and spending plan first
Before confirming, agree what to buy or collect, the time needed, service fee, purchase budget and how receipts and payment will be handled. Transport and purchases are separate from the service unless explicitly included in your quote. Do not provide bank passwords, PINs, card details or OTPs. This pilot does not include banking transactions or handling account access.
Requesting help for a parent
Tell us how your parent wants to be involved and whether they would like to speak with us first. Let us know their preferred language and practical mobility needs. Family updates are discussed with the senior; the person receiving help remains part of the decision.
What to share in an enquiry
Start with the neighbourhood, task, preferred timing and whether you want to go together. A rough frequency and budget, if you are comfortable sharing them, help us test what the pilot should offer. A full home address is not needed in the initial form. We confirm the detailed arrangement only after suitability, availability and price are agreed.
